Wholemeal-Walnut Pastry

• 4 cups of flour
• 3 tablespoons of Yuva Active Dry Yeast 
• 0.5 cup of water
• 2 teaspoons of salt
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons of sugar
• 2 tablespoons of bran
• 1 pack of margarine 
• 1 cup of coarsely chopped walnuts

For the Topping:
• 1 egg

1- Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water you will use in the dough and let it sit for 10 minutes.
2- Mix and work the flour, thawed yeast, salt, egg, sugar and bran. Put the margarine in between the dough and keep working.
3- Add the coarsely chopped walnuts and continue to work until you get a homogeneous and smooth dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
4- Cut the dough into 10 equal pieces and place them on a greased baking tray.
5- Cover and raise it at room temperature for 1.5 hours.
6- Rub the beaten egg on it.
7- Bake it in an oven preheated at 190-200 °C for about 20 minutes until pink.
